I am an experienced developer and a tech-lead. I already started one successful startup (flowplayer) and developed it's first product. Now looking to start a new startup.

I have been working on the JavaScript/TypeScript stack full-time and full-stack for the past 6 years. I've worked both in the backend and in the frontend with React.js. I know and have used AWS, Google Cloud, Heroku extensively. Other technologies that I've used Shopify, Next.js, Algolia, Contentful, Typesense, MongoDB etc.

I am building a charting tool in the style of TradingView called Spot Canvas.

How do we differentiate from TradingView?

• The Best UX: TradingView is difficult and cumbersome
• Chart API: We treat the chart as a web component that can be scripted and controlled from the embedding page
• Theming: Advanced stuff like background images, gradients
• Cool animations: Rising candles are shining and pumping in green
• Custom branding

Following core features are currently under development:

• Indicators
• Technical Analysis tools
• User accounts with settings etc.
• Possibility to save chart layouts
• Asset library for saving favorite trading pairs

When these are ready, we can start selling the basic subscription.

Spot Canvas is positioned to leverage key inflection points in technology and market trends:

• AI Advancements: AI is becoming easier to implement and more effective
• Wider crypto adoption: Trump’s election accelerates this further
• Expanding user base for charting tools
• Spot Canvas aims to capture a slice of this expanding market
