I’m Paul, a generalist with a passion for building real communities. I’m working on my startup, Heyra, which helps people to find local friendship groups to live more sustainably together.
I’m a graduate of Imperial College London, and I’ve worked as a structural engineer in a premier UK firm and as a data analyst in a startup in the infrastructure sector. I have a well-rounded skill set, with more of leaning towards the technical and strategic side.
I’m looking for someone to help me sell and market the product and grow our user base through the upcoming beta-testing phase that we will be running in London Hackney. Product design skills are also welcome. But most importantly, I’m looking for someone passionate, smart, dedicated and fun. It’s all about the fun really.
heyra.co.uk
Heyra is an impact startup for locals to find in-person friendship groups to live more sustainably together, and to better embrace their local area.
Users can meet people by using Heyra Match-Up, our group matchmaking service, or by meeting people at local events. Groups can set and track sustainability targets, support local green businesses and use social contagion to effectively adopt and share sustainable lifestyles. Local green businesses can use the platform to promote themselves to a uniquely cohesive eco-conscious user base.
Harnessing the power of the collective, Heyra taps into powerful positive feedback loops to drive impact at scale, simultaneously addressing the loneliness epidemic and climate change.
The development of the web app is nearly complete, and I am currently focussed on promoting the platform to build up the waitlist in preparation for the beta-launch in London Hackney.
