After transitioning from advertising after several years I got a thank you letter from a long term client reading; “Thank you for being a doer.” I pride myself on this. On being a doer. A creative doer. I have used creativity in my life as a tool to better my own circumstances. From working in a world leading ad agency at just 18 years old. With zero contacts. Climbing the ladder in advertising and building a successful freelance career. Obtaining an MA without a BA. I can, wholeheartedly, commit to my co-founder that I will do. I will do my best to achieve results using my creativity, my experience and my knowledge. This is my full-time position now. No distraction. And with the help of a co-founder I believe something exciting and special can be built here.
The creator economy is FAR from dead. In fact the opposite, it is booming. And I have devised a ‘show’ that is exciting, fresh and perfectly situated within the digital media landscape. It is satirical, educational and controversial show focusing on the famous and infamous. Perfect for ‘viralability’ and moldable to target specific demographics. With careful, creative decision making what's stopping this from being the "South Park" for modern generations. What do I mean by that? I mean a piece of intellectual property that captures audience with cheekiness. And with that, this is more than just a YouTube Channel. This is a Media Property. That’s how I am approaching it. Understanding how it benefits from that magical word “algorithm” and have pencilled in several revenue streams. But, I want a co-founder to help us land on the digital space with a SPLASH. Together reaching out to journalists and get that ever so vital PR. More importantly, I want a co-founder to help me build this media property into a sustainable enterprise. A co-founder who can focus on financial & audience growth. Focusing on squeezing as much potential through different revenue streams: Merch, sponsors, partnerships etc.. While I will focus on the creative side of the business. Managing the animators and sound artists, producing the episodes, writing, editing, trends, release schedules and so on. I think with myself as a creative and a co-founder who is growth/business focused, we will further differentiate ourselves from fellow creators.
