Oscar has worked in the student events industry for the past 5 years. Amassing a network of students, he is keen to provide a valuable platform for students to connect with each other. Building a small student events business post lockdown to turnover £1million in 2021 & getting nominated for Virgin’s Young Change-makers Fellowship, Oscar has demonstrated both drive & entrepreneurial passion for creating value.
Elevator pitch for startup:
There is no good way to meet likeminded students online, and even if they do, it rarely materialises into a meet up.
Current apps lack exclusivity, leading to safety concerns & a less curated user base.
I want to make it easier & safer for students to connect with each other.
