It totally depends upon What you are trying to achieve . If you think privacy is concern make use of your own custom models. Else There are a lot of options to go for quick use. There are saas services providing such quick solutions.

We have done similarly . Right now if we have RAG usecase for building custom user based chatbot. We have used our own servers. fine tuned models accordingly. Whereas there is a client project where we have used chatgpt api as well.

So its requirements call.

Yes, we're actively incorporating AI into our automation agency, a move that promises to revolutionize our operations and significantly enhance the services we offer clients.

We're using AI to: Automate lead filtering and scoring. Generate content like social posts, emails, and product copy. Power decision-making in workflows through tools like n8n and make.com. Build smarter, context-aware chatbots for client websites.

From a founder's perspective, my vision with AI is to not just streamline operations and reduce manual tasks, but to also create a new standard of personalized experiences, all without increasing costs.

From what I've seen, investors are mainly looking for: Real use cases with measurable returns. Some form of defensibility, whether it's proprietary data, workflows, or clever integrations. Solutions that scale beyond just plugging into ChatGPT.

We don't sell AI as the product, we use it to make everything we deliver more valuable, faster, and future-proof.

Happy to swap notes if anyone's doing something similar! Cheers!

I think the future of Startups is in helping existing companies integrate AI into their existing systems. That is what my startup is trying to do in the financial advising space. I am currently looking for a technical co-founder for anyone who might be interested. The industry is large and ripe for innovation.
