Business? Marketing? or anything else? Unlike B2C users, B2B consumers have unique concerns such as strict budgets, contact with sales representatives, and the need to appease multiple stakeholders. However, decreasing purchase complexity and increasing trust are as important on B2B ecommerce sites as on B2C ones.
Education tech, Im working on my edtech startup now. The goal is to bring faster and cheaper quality high education to people.
The issues around B2B - and B2B2C - versus B2C products in tech was brought home to me during prep for a new funding round where the B2B aspects we're held in higher regard and consequently became the focus of the conversations.
I'm currently putting a team together to satisfy these requirements.
Machine learning and personalization. As our needs change, the ability for our tech to adapt should be a staple in expectations.
#ChangeManagement - this has become huge with firms/companies repositioning themselves strategically.
#ScaleUp - the design, planning and the action part, actually building companies and adding fully designed roles into an organisation
#ImpactMarketing - something I am still learning and trying to get better at. I see this done well eslewhere but it's hard to replicate if you don't have the same creative skills as others!
