As a co-founder, what apps can't you live without?

# apps

Would love to hear the apps everyone here is using to maximize their productivity and how they've helped you in your businesses/ launch ideas so far!

My favourite are:

  1. Trello - Amazing at organizing and prioritizing tasks. Have found it to be most useful so far with managing a development team
  2. Slicing Pie - This one helps in dividing equity amongst co-founders. Used it once for a startup and would never launch another startup without it!
  3. Unsplash - Very decent quality stock images for free, has been great for getting marketing communications together on a budget.

  1. Slack: Great way to communicate with team members and track projects.

  2. LinkedInviter.com: This generates a ton of leads for us on Linkedin. It's allowed me to grow my network with specifically targeted decision-makers.

  3. Proposable: Allows you to create proposals with the ability to track analytics, views and even e-sign the document.

  4. Skype: Although many dislike because it's a MS tool and because it's antiquated, I do quite a lot of business overseas and many already have this chat / VOIP app already installed.

  5. Uberconference.com: Quick screensharing. You can do brower-based demos on the fly. Pretty easy to use and is affordable.

Just to provide some alternatives here:

  1. Discord instead of slack It was originally developed for gamers but has been growing a lot in team usage. Unlimited channels, Unlimited Voice, Webhooks to feed data/info into rooms, Permissions and user groups, Lots of bots and integrations, and FREE

  2. Clickup instead of trello/asana Really great at setting up multiple types of lists and data - really this thing blew me away with what it can do when managing a project and team

  3. Jitsi Free opensource video conferencing tool with all the normal features. Can install on your own server or use their hosted free rooms with the service https://meet.jit.si/

Great query!

  1. Sublime - Table Editor, SFTP
  2. MonoDraw - quick prototypes, diagrams, email, layout...
  3. Not an app, but my Roaring Spring, spiral bound, green tinted, graph paper notebook. 3.1.Faber UniBall fine point - haha.

These are my power trio for hundreds of projects.
