I have a project that we want to IPO in the US. How do I find a co-founder of American citizenship?

I have a project that was invested by two non-US co-founders to complete the MVP. Apps for both iOS and Android have been released recently.

They want to find a co-founder of American citizenship, and then through the co-founder of American citizenship to raise funds from the US venture capital firms for the first time, step by step towards the IPO.

The quality of this MVP is very high, and it’s predictable to get five stars on the App Store. The business model of this project is very good and original. No one has thought of such a business model in the past. At the same time, it’s solving a big problem that exists all over the world. I am worried that if I post the link of this app directly, it will be considered as an advertisement, so if you are interested, please contact me.

What should I do to reach a large number of candidates (co-founders of American citizenship) ?

Does anyone have relevant experience to share with me?

Hello @Wilson this is an interesting problem you have. One thing is picking the right co-founder/partner. You have two main options that I can see, 1) try and find someone that fits your needs via business competitions, social networking sites, etc. 2) hire someone that fits your needs (if your company is large enough). There are plenty of people who I am sure would be interested, but you need someone with the connections to VC, and not just someone who is interested.

I recently sold my construction company and happen to be on the market for a new opportunity. I also have strong ties to TechStars and VC here local in the Texas, US area. Even if it is not a right fit for me, I would be happy to help you get in touch with the right people who can help you out. Message me and let's see if I cant help you out.

Best of luck!

I am also based in the USA and am interested in cofounding for non US based companies. I have founded my own and have time for others.

What would be the role of the co-founder and duties? I can cover citizenship, marketing, email blasts, growth and social media.

I don't know if this is still valid topic, but if it is feel free to get back to me

I'm late to the party, how did it go? Is citizenship of a cofounder wholly necessary are options such as business/ entrepreneur visas an option? I'm not a lawyer but may be helping some of my portfolio/ studio startups incorporate/have subsidiaries in London and Delaware
